Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The food is acceptable. Even though it is frim central kitchen, but still acceptable. Some dishes need heat up slightly longer. The staff, 1 guy infact. Doing his job well. Only set back the seating. Too small and not comfortable. Bigger size person will have issue. Price is okay for shopping mall restaurant."
"House of Pok 小猪猪 at Mid Valley is a great place for hearty, pork-focused meals that hit the spot. The menu offers a good variety — from braised pork belly rice, pork chop noodles, to comforting soup-based dishes — all made with tender, flavorful cuts of pork. The braised pork belly is especially worth trying — melt-in-your-mouth texture with rich, savory gravy that pairs perfectly with rice. Their clear soup options are also light yet flavorful, great for a balanced meal. Side dishes like lou bak and onsen egg are well-prepared and add a nice touch. The restaurant has a clean, cozy ambiance with modern decor, and the service is quick and polite. Pricing is reasonable for a mall outlet, and portion sizes are satisfying. Whether you’re craving something comforting or just love pork, House of Pok delivers a solid meal every time."
"Went here numerous times and every time it is so delicious! Portion is quite big too, a happy tummy always! If you haven't visted this before, you should definitely try it! Definitely a 10/10 restaurant!"
"The food here is absolutely amazing! It’s not overloaded with MSG, and the flavors are well-balanced. The sour and spicy fish is highly recommended! If it weren’t for my friend’s recommendation, I would’ve never found this place."
"First time eating here. Quite a variety of choice to choose. Food portions are good & overall we are very satisfied"
"I never miss the chance to stop by here whenever I'm at Mid Valley! My go-to order is always the ST03 set, paired with A01 (spicy pork belly) and B01 (spicy eggplant). Some might find the flavors a bit repetitive, but for me, the spice is so delicious and memorable that I don’t mind having both dishes every time. The level of spiciness is just right for my taste, packed with garlicky, fragrant flavors that pair perfectly with the white rice. The eggplant even comes with bits of pork lard, adding extra richness. The set also includes side dishes like pickled cucumber and either peanuts or crackers. Just note that drinks need to be ordered separately, as they’re not included in the set. We visited around 6pm on a weekend and had no trouble finding seats. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. We used to frequent their branches in Sunway Pyramid and Taipan, but unfortunately, both have closed down. Now, Mid Valley is the closest place where I can still enjoy this meal. House of Pok remains one of my must-visit spots whenever I'm in the area, and my partner and friends love it too! Hopefully they can expand again and bring more branches around different areas ;)"
"House of Pok is a hidden gem in Mid Valley Megamall, offering a variety of delicious pork-based dishes in a warm and inviting setting. The restaurant’s ambiance is cozy, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. One of the standout dishes is the curry fish, which is rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The combination of tender fish and aromatic curry sauce makes it a must-try. Their signature pork dishes, including the Hakka Braised Pork and Nam Yu Fried Pork, are also well-prepared and packed with flavor. Service is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food served. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal with well-executed Chinese flavors, House of Pok is definitely worth a visit."
"A great spot for food in Midvalley. Arriving to a queue would have been the greatest giveaway that food served here will be delicious. However despite a long line, it moves fast. Must be people eating fast on something so great first timers may find it confusing to order but it’s no rocket science. Study it awhile and everything will fall into place. Service is impeccable. Watch out for the many promos. Explore and enjoy the food serve piping hot"
